Jessica is a fourth-year student specializing in Human Resources Management. After graduation, she plans to acquire her CPHR designation and National Collective Bargaining Certification before pursuing a career in negotiation. Passionate about both people and business, Jessica plans to incorporate her educational learnings and OBSA involvement into her future profession.

Elizabeth Hirschkorn

Vice President

Born and raised in on a farm in Coldstream, Elizabeth is a second-year student specializing in accounting. She plans to pursue the CPA designation after graduation and is grateful for the professional skills she has developed through the OBSA. Elizabeth is passionate about business, traveling the world, and is excited to incorporate both into her career.

John Lee


John is in his second year of the BBA program at the Kelowna campus, specializing in Accounting. Originally from South Korea but graduated high school in Brandon, Manitoba. He hopes to eventually get a CPA designation to work in the government setting. As a past and current executive member of OCAC, he hopes to utilize his best experiences to serve the community and provide fluent communications between OBSA and OCAC.

Gurnoor Johal

Born and raised in the Okanagan, Gurnoor is a second-year student specializing in management. She is passionate about helping others and encouraging an inclusive environment. The OBSA has been a great way to connect with other students. Gurnoor is planning to pursue her MBA after her degree and to take a leap in management consulting

Kayla Waldbillig

VP of Marketing

Kayla is a fourth-year BBA student specializing in accounting and is planning to pursue her CPA designation following graduation. Kayla has lived in West Kelowna for over 8 years after growing up in Saskatoon, SK, and has since grown to call the Okanagan home. Through the OBSA, Kayla has had the privilege of connecting with business professionals, expanding her leadership skills, and building relationships with like-minded business students at the College. Along with her passion for accounting, Kayla also enjoys the outdoors, social media, and sports.

Charan is a 4th year BBA student specializing in marketing. Born and raised in Kelowna, he now calls Lake Country home. He is passionate about business and agriculture. The OBSA has been a great opportunity to create some amazing professional and personal connections.
